I grew up in Burlington, Wisconsin; a pretty typical mid-western kid.  My two brothers and many cousins invented some fun ways to spend our time and got into trouble more times than not.

After graduating from Burlington High School in 1990, I was married to my high school sweetheart, who was in the Marine Corps.  The next ten years were full of travel and having 3 wonderful kids; Garrett, Elizabeth, & Mackenzie.

In 1998 I met THE leading man of my life, Ben.  He and his two daughters; Kristin & Marissa made our family complete.

We are now retired from the Marine Corps and live in Texas, just outside of Houston.  Our life is crazy and we wouldn't have it any other way.

I write because my love for Ben showed me it was possible.  I believe in faith, hard work, and love as it is the best thing that can happen to a person.  I'm pretty sassy and cheesy and want to see the good in people.  Please enjoy a good love story.
